and Seaside Summer Concert Series
As a State Senator, I founded two of the biggest free outdoor concert series in the nation, the Martin Luther King Jr. Concerts and the Seaside Summer Concerts. This yearÆs 14 concerts will bring international stars to Brooklyn, with performances to appeal to almost every music lover, from Gospel and Latin to Oldies and Motown. I am proud to once again serve as host and to note that the Martin Luther King Jr. series is entering its 20th year and the Seaside series its 24th. Typically, at least 10,000 people attend each concert.

Wingate Field, 7:30 PM every Monday, July 8th to August 19th (rain date, Tuesday night)
